The old car left the good Toronto
On a very hot day in July.
A small boy with a suitcase in tow
Jumped inside clad in short pants and tie.
"Are we there yet?" the boy asked his dad,
Counting each car on the county road.
Smoke started to shoot out of the rad
As they approached the Kirkton abode.
In the corn field he played hide 'n seek.
In the barn he played fetch with Rover.
He took dips with Leroy in Fish Creek.
He picked a lucky four leaf clover.
But what gave this boy limitless glee?
"Driving" his uncle's old Model T.
